Not only does furniture tend to move easier with the pads installed, it also won’t scratch the wood floors. Be careful, though, as the pads may need to be replaced every so often depending on the type you’re using.
Sweeping
There’s always something on the floor. Whether it’s a bit of dust, some particulates tracked in on shoes or a couple of crumbs from that sandwich you had for lunch. Sweeping daily is essential for protecting your flooring. It doesn’t matter if you can’t see what’s there, it can still cause damage. Sweeping daily will minimize the risk of scratching exponentially.
